Refund Policy
One refund per organization, published rather than hidden.
In short
First purchase · 14 days · unused pass → full refund.
One refund per organization, ever. We may decline abuse.
1.The short version
If FND turns out not to fit, we give your money back, once and fairly. A first purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days, as long as the pass has not actually been used with a live group. After an organization has received a refund, any later purchase is final. Where we see the policy being gamed, we may decline.
2.What qualifies
All three conditions at once:
- 2.1The request reaches us within 14 days of the purchase.
- 2.2It is your organization's first refund.
- 2.3The pass has not been materially used: no participants verified at your gate, no live session run on it.
3.What does not qualify
A pass that already carried a live season: once kids have verified and the map has run your days, the value of the pass has been delivered. A second purchase after an earlier refund, since repeat purchases are final. A pass bought, used through a session's busiest weeks and refunded at the end: that is use, not a change of mind.
4.When we decline
Refunds exist for honest misjudgment, not as a free-season mechanism. We may decline a refund, including a first one, where we see abuse:
- 4.1Purchase-refund cycles, or accounts created to reset refund eligibility.
- 4.2A chargeback filed instead of a request. Talk to us first: a chargeback freezes everything and helps nobody.
- 4.3A violation of our Terms of Service.
5.How the money comes back
We answer every refund request within two business days. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
6.The legal footing
FND sells to organizations, not consumers, so statutory consumer-withdrawal rules do not apply to these purchases. This policy is voluntary: it exists because a director should be able to try a payment without fearing the money is simply gone. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to purchases made through this site.
